SPRING CULINARY EVENTS
Each spring semester, senior Nutrition & Dietetics culinary students, under the instruction of Chef Dan Brewer, plan and execute a culinary event to showcase their culinary philosophy and demonstrate what they have learned over the past four years. JUNTOS by Maria Jose Cardenal
Come together for an evening filled with laughter, meaningful connections and heartfelt conversation as Maria Jose shares a piece of the place she calls home. Enjoy the warmth of Nicaraguan hospitality and savor traditional flavors as you experience the richness of Nicaragua’s cuisine.

Taste the garden by hannah bast
Enjoy each other's company and savor delicious dishes in the beautiful Nutrition + Dietetics Teaching Garden. Taste the Garden utilizes various types of produce harvested directly from the garden to create courses that are fresh and farm-to-table. This event aims to bring people together for fellowship and to experience new flavors! Taste the Garden is a family-friendly event.

SCRAP is a sustainable and thrifty event that is rooted in utilizing local ingredients while minimizing food waste. SCRAP uses eco-friendly decor and pre-loved china and flatware to help reduce single use waste. Enjoy gathering with friends and family while expanding your palate and savoring these homemade, plant focused dishes!
